Nicole Richie is making her return to television but this time not to a reality series. She will guest star in an episode of the NBC comedy “Chuck,” as a mean girl who used to torture Yvonne Strahovski’s character in high school.

Come fall, Nicole Richie’s fans will be able to turn on their television sets one fine evening and watch her play the Mean Girl on NBC’s comedy “Chuck,” during a special episode that will chronicle the adventures of Yvonne Strahovski’s character, Special Agent Sarah Walker, as she attends her 10-year high school reunion.

According to NBC, Walker, who suffered in high school at the unforgiving hand of Richie’s character, “must face her fears” as she is forced to attend the reunion for a mission with costar Zachary Levi (Chuck) as her date.

Richie’s character will be a “snarky and spiteful girl who tortured” Strahovski’s character in high school.

The spy fantasy which debuted in September stars Zachary Levi as Chuck, a geek who becomes a counterterrorism operative by mistake. The show’s second season begins on September 29.

The show’s creator and executive producer Josh Schwartz said Richie “auditioned for the part and was very funny.” He concluded that the role is “a great opportunity for her to show off her comedic skills and be diabolically evil and kick some butt. It’s going to be really fun.”

This is hardly the first time Richie has been before a camera. She has previously guest-starred on “8 Simple Rules … for Dating My Teenage Daughter” and “American Dreams.”

She also co-starred alongside good friend Paris Hilton in the reality series “The Good Life.”

Richie was once known as a kind of “bad girl” herself, what with the partying, the substance abuse problem and being arrested for DUI. Having a baby with her boyfriend of almost two years, Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden, seems to have turned her life around. For the very much better.

Chuck Season 2 Episode 3 Spoilers

Episode Title: “Chuck vs. the Breakup”

MIXED EMOTIONS–former New York Giants star Michael Strahan guest-stars as the intimidating bully Mitt. Chuck (Zachary Levi) is overcome with jealousy when his nemesis Bryce Larkin (Matthew Bomer) — and Sarah’s (Yvonne Strahovski) ex-lover and partner — makes an unexpected return. Chuck and Sarah’s growing feelings for each other are tested when their latest mission requires Sarah and Bryce to pose as an extremely affectionate couple. Meanwhile, Morgan (Joshua Gomez) faces his own challenge at Buy More when he must deal with a gang of bullies, from a neighboring sporting goods store in the strip mall called, the Mighty Jocks led by the fearful Mitt. Lester uses his new upper management skills to delegate an unpleasant task to Morgan - getting the Mighty Jocks bullies to quit using the home theater room as their personal frat house. If only the lead Mighty Jock hadn’t dissed Anna, it all would have gone differently…

Meanwhile, Chuck finds himself working with Casey, Sarah, and…Bryce? The erstwhile agent is back, still mixed up with Fulcrum, and needing Team Bartowski’s help. Fulcrum wants a decrypted microchip from a man named Von Hayes, but Bryce wants to get it first. He and Sarah go undercover at a lavish party thrown by Von Hayes, causing a jealous Chuck to risk losing his cover as a waiter at the same party. When Sarah finds herself out of commission, Chuck manages to broker a deal with Von Hayes for the microchip. Spying is stressful, though, and things don’t go quite according to plan.

Chuck Season 2 Episode 2 : Chuck vs. the Seduction

SWEET SEDUCTION–Emmy Award winner John Larroquette (“Boston Legal”) guest-stars as the legendary debonair spy Roan Montgomery and Melinda Clarke (“The O.C.”) guest-stars as a sultry but dangerous female spy known as the Black Widow. Chuck (Zachary Levi) must go undercover to retrieve the Cipher from the Black Widow. But in order to get close to his target, Chuck must learn the art of seduction from the suave and sophisticated Roan. Unfortunately for Chuck, Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) and Casey (Adam Baldwin), Roan is no longer the world’s greatest spy. Meanwhile, Morgan (Joshua Gomez) offers Captain Awesome (Ryan McPartlin) some advice for a romantic night with Ellie (Sarah Lancaster), and Lester (Vik Sahay) struggles to gain respect at Buy More as the new assistant manager. Jeff Krinsky, Julia Ling and Mark Christopher Lawrence also star.

Chuck goes undercover as Mr. Carmichael to steal the Cipher by seducing a woman named Sasha with offers of…club soda? Although Chuck does obtain the Cipher, Sasha and her thugs capture Sarah and Casey to hold hostage. Sarah is sure Chuck will focus on the Cipher, the key to his freedom; Casey is sure Chuck is a “dumb b@stard who is in love with [Sarah]“. Sure enough, Chuck enlists the help of his new mentor, former spy Roan Montgomery, but Montgomery’s defeatist attitude does not inspire Chuck. Calling his own shots, Chuck sets up a hostage exchange at the Buy More, of which Lester is now assistant manager.

Meanwhile, Captain Awesome creates the “perfect” night for Ellie.

Academy Award nominee Michael Clarke Duncan (“The Green Mile”) guest-stars as Colt, a menacing operative. Chuck (Zachary Levi) prevents Colt from obtaining the Cipher — a device that would ultimately lead to a new Intersect. Chuck is told that this successful mission marks the end of his espionage career and the beginning of a normal life. Free from bullets and bombs, Chuck finally asks Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) out on a real first date. But Chuck’s role as the old Intersect is not good news for everyone as Casey (Adam Baldwin) deals with a difficult order assigned to him. Meanwhile at Buy More, Morgan (Joshua Gomez) devises an eccentric way to hire a new assistant manager. Sarah Lancaster, Ryan McPartlin, Jeff Krinsky, Vik Sahay, Julia Ling and Mark Christopher Lawrence also star.

When Casey attempts to securely ship the “Cipher”, he is thwarted by a villain named Colt. One of Colt’s henchmen gases Casey, leaving him writhing in agony, apparently in the throes of death. Upon returning to Colt with the Cipher, it is revealed that Chuck and Sarah are the next targets.

Chuck Season 2 has a lot of surprises. Here's what  Zach Levi - Chuck had to say about Season 2, "It's twice the action, twice the drama and twice the romance. It's Chuck squared". He was also quoted saying that Chuck will die in Season 2 not once but twice. It would be interesting to see how will they manage that. 

Season 2 also bring Hot new girls on seen and Nerd Romance will be better than ever seen.
